Amber R.This product has been extremely helpful!! My son has a dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and Autism and getting haircuts have always been very challenging for him. I usually cut it myself by hand over several sessions because he has not been able to tolerate clippers and needs a lot of support. Our past haircuts have usually been pretty choppy looking and I've often cut myself trying to go fast and careful. The Calming Clipper Haircutting kit has made the process so much faster and easier. We got an even cut in all those super sensitive places — the back, around his neck and ears, and the front, in one sitting and I didn't have to risk cutting myself to do it. I have only tried them along the back edge of my son's hair and around his ears so far, but they work quite efficiently. We still needed to break up the trim because my kid was antsy and crying. He liked the protector cape, but he still had some hair fall down (way less than usual though). Good product overall.
